Keys To Achievement Foundation™ is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing every child’s cognitive, social, motor and creative development by providing an effective and affordable early-grade music keyboard instruction program to public schools across the country.
Who We Serve
The Keys To Achievement Program is currently active in 55 public elementary schools, serving nearly 25,000 students, in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, New York City, Washington DC, Chicago, Atlanta, Charleston, Tampa, Minneapolis, Racine, Peoria, Lansing, East Stroudsburg and Portsmouth (VA).

Who We Are
Keys to Achievement Foundation was founded in 2000 by concert pianist and music educator David Arden, and has received institutional funding support from JPMorgan Chase Foundation, Music Lives Foundation, Adams Family Foundation, and Marin Community Foundation, as well as corporate sponsorship from Adventus, M-Audio and Adams Outdoor Advertising.
Dr. James Catterall, Professor of Education at UCLA and one of the world’s leading arts education researchers, is currently running a 3-year outcomes evaluation of the Keys To Achievement Program.
In June 2000, Congress passed H. CON. RES. 266 giving official recognition to the fact that "music education enhances intellectual development and enriches the academic environment for children of all ages."
